Happy New Year to all of you leaders
and friends of Crux Move!
I
trust that you have all done some good and learned a bunch in 2010!
We want to
thank you for your trust in us as partners in your successes. Depending on how
you keep score, Crux Move had one of our best years ever right on the heels of
likely our worst year ever. As the jams in our economy seemed to begin to
break loose it made for some great opportunities for you and us. And
based on what we hear from you, our collaborations this year were very
successful and had far reaching impact.
When Jim and
I started Crux Move ten years ago, our vision was to bring the best of our
non-profit roots to a for-profit business. We know that our clients work
with us to get better and to make real measurable changes in their business,
and that is always our primary focus. We have always been aware that YOU
make a difference in the lives of those you lead and those that your business
touches, and the more effective you get the more good that happens. In
addition, we know that the courage and passion that you bring to your
development and to your work every day, you also take home with you every
night. And the very same changes in perception and enhanced relationship
and leadership skills that drive your work also enhance the rest of your life.
We know that when you leave work you are a member of a family, you might coach
little league or soccer, or you are on your church’s board and the PTA at your
kids school, and whatever your interests, you take your increased influence as
a leader and a person to your “community”. Depending on the demands of
your life right now some of you are a model through your activity and some of
you inspire others to act. I guess what I am saying is that you folks
make a lot of good happen in our world, some of it at work and some outside of
work. And we are proud to work with you.
This year
Crux Move collaborated with a lot of cool people doing things that matter in a
pretty exciting environment. We worked with you to develop leaders, build
teams, and to cultivate and enhance organizational cultures that put companies
in a better position to take advantage of future realities. These are
definitely exciting times.
If you are
making some exciting moves this year we hope you will consider partnering with
us. Make it a great year!
